Whether it is witnessing the sunrise over Kanchenjunga, enjoying the iconic Toy Train ride, or simply soaking in the cool mountain air, this tour promises an unforgettable Himalayan experience.

Itinerary

Approx. Distance: 125 Kms | Travel Time: 5 Hours

Assemble at Cochin Domestic Airport and board a flight to Bagdogra. Upon arrival at Bagdogra International Airport, meet our local representative and proceed towards the beautiful hill capital of Gangtok, situated at an altitude of 5,500 ft. Enjoy the scenic drive through winding mountain roads, lush valleys, and flowing rivers.
On arrival, check in to the hotel and relax. The rest of the evening is free for leisure. You may explore the nearby local market or simply enjoy the pleasant mountain climate.

Approx. Distance: 120 Kms | Travel Time: 8 Hours

Optional tour day – If you are opting to visit Nathula Pass : After breakfast, proceed for a breathtaking high-altitude excursion to Tsomgo Lake, located at 12,400 ft. This glacial lake, surrounded by snow-clad mountains, is one of the most picturesque attractions in Sikkim.
Continue the journey to Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple, popularly known as Baba Mandir, a revered shrine dedicated to the legendary Indian soldier Baba Harbhajan Singh.
Later, visit the famous Nathula Pass, one of the highest motorable mountain passes in the world and an important Indo-China border point.
Those who are not joining for the Nathula Pass tour can enjoy other Gangtok City tour except Nathula pass with local shopping.
Return to Gangtok by evening.

Important Notes:

Nathula Pass visit is strictly subject to permit availability and weather/road conditions.
In case of landslides or road closure, alternate sightseeing will be arranged.
During heavy snowfall, vehicles may only be permitted up to Snow Point near Tsomgo Lake.

Approx. Distance: 200 Kms | Travel Time: 8 Hours

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Pelling via the scenic towns of Ravangla and Namchi.
En route, visit the magnificent Buddha Park, home to a towering statue of Lord Buddha set amidst beautifully landscaped gardens and panoramic Himalayan views.
Continue to Namchi to visit Siddhesvara Dham (Chardham), a famous pilgrimage and cultural complex featuring replicas of major Hindu temples and a grand Shiva statue. Also visit the Sai Temple nearby.
Proceed to Pelling and check in to the hotel.

Approx. Distance: 100 Kms | Travel Time: 7 Hours 30 Minutes

After breakfast, enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of Pelling. Visit the historic Pemayangtse Monastery, one of the oldest and most important monasteries in Sikkim.
Later visit the ancient Rabdentse Ruins, the former capital of the Kingdom of Sikkim, offering spectacular valley views. Continue to Sangachoeling Monastery and experience the famous Skywalk.
In the afternoon, drive to the charming hill station of Darjeeling via Singla Check Post.
Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and relax.

Early morning at around 4:00 AM, drive to Tiger Hill to witness the spectacular sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga.
Return to the hotel for breakfast. Later proceed for the famous Darjeeling Himalayan Railway Joy Ride, popularly known as the Toy Train experience.

Darjeeling Himalayan Railway Joy Ride

The iconic Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers a nostalgic journey through misty hills, tea gardens, and mountain landscapes aboard the legendary Toy Train.

Note: Ropeway tickets are on direct payment basis and subject to operational conditions.

Approx. Distance: 70 Kms | Travel Time: 3 Hours

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Bagdogra International Airport for your onward journey, carrying unforgettable memories of the Eastern Himalayas. Return back to Cochin.
